As the first quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've delved into the performance of the top fitness and weight loss applications on the Android platform in Australia. Powered by Sensor Tower's data, we present a snapshot of the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter, the app's revenue displayed fluctuations with a peak of around $32K and a trough near $26K. Downloads began at roughly 3.6K and saw a downward trend, ending the quarter at about 1.9K. Weekly active users started strong at approximately 50K but gradually decreased to around 38K.

Fitness tracker Fitbit showed a similar revenue pattern, with a high of nearly $30K and a low of around $20K. Downloads dipped from 3.3K to 1.8K over the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained robust, starting at around 137K and closing the quarter at about 142K.

For Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, the revenue trajectory was impressive, starting at approximately $23K and soaring to nearly $35K. Downloads saw peaks and valleys, ultimately rising from 3.2K to 3.3K. Weekly active users began at about 157K, dipped mid-quarter, but ended on a high note, matching the starting figure.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced a revenue range from just over $11K to almost $10K. Downloads saw a significant increase from 5K to 5.8K. The app's weekly active users showed growth, climbing from 37K to 47K by the end of March.

Lastly, BetterMe: Health Coaching saw its revenue move between $6K and $4.5K. Downloads initially stood at 5.4K but fell to 1.5K. Active users started at around 16K and, following a decline, slightly recovered to over 7K.
